We provided training for those interested in learning how to develop metadata for natural resource databases. This training was held in Blacksburg, VA and was open to the public. We also facilitated training at conferences and encouraged others to take on the training aspect (Train the Trainer workshop) at their own organization. We were also involved in the NBII Clearinghouse initiative to further distribute and share databases world wide.
