Our goal is to develop and maintain a web-based interface of fish kill data for use by university researchers and agencies involved in the project.

At its core, the problem in the Shenandoah is a aquatic living resources problem, and a fish assemblage problem specifically. Water quality and land use are likely to be important factors, but fish biology and aquatic ecology may be the disciplines most likely to identify a cause or causes for the observed events.
