The Conservation Management Institute (CMI) at Virginia Tech has been provided with a project from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) to complete mapping activities related to the NWI program. The project covers activities related to the delineation and attribution of wetlands through photogrammetric techniques as well as updating existing wetland datasets, landscape and waterflow attribution, a recent trends analysis, identifying potential restoration sites, and historic trends analysis.
